A telecom behemoth named Airtel has launched a new prepaid package priced at 199. The plan comes with a 3GB data cap and a 30 day validity period with unlimited calling. Prior to raising the cost of its services, Airtel introduced a 199-rupee plan last year. However, the Airtel plan had a 24-day validity period and cost 199 rupees.
According to Telecom Talk, Airtel used to provide the 199 plan with 1GB everyday up until last year. In order to compete with its competitors’ programmes, the teco major later improved the package and included 1.5GB of daily data. Now that the 199 plan’s validity has been extended, Airtel has reintroduced it with a smaller data cap.

Airtel provides unlimited calling, 300 SMS, and unlimited internet use for the duration of the subscription. The telecom behemoth has furthermore offered free Hello Tunes and Wynk Music as well as the Airtel Thanks app and other incentives.
It is notable that the corporation would charge 50p per MB and 1p for local SMS and 1.5p for STD SMS after the consumption of 300 SMS and 3G data. In spite of 300 SMS sent over the course of 30 days, clients may only send 100 SMS every day.
