We have already reported that Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer rural drama Pushpa: The Rise, which is the biggest grosser of the last year, has crossed Rs 350 crores mark.
The movie has completed 50 days and according to the makers, Pushpa: The Rise has earned Rs 365 Cr gross at the Worldwide box office in 50 days.
Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1, helmed by Sukumar and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, was released in the month of December last year and it fast emerged as one of the biggest money spinners of 2021.
After a sluggish start at the box office the Hindi version of Sukumar’ magnum opus saw an exponential increase in collections as the weeks progressed.
Now after its seventh weekend running the Hindi version of Pushpa has managed to cross the Rs. 100 cr. mark at the box office. Interestingly though, Allu Arjun starrer which hit OTT streaming services a while back has continued to do business at the box office window.
A dark horse at the box office, Pushpa: The Rise has continued to do business in theatres despite its OTT release. According to Rashmika Mandanna, the shoot of Pushpa: The Rule will commenced from the next month.
