Staff India suffered one more damage blow as all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja on Monday was ruled out of the fourth and last Test against Australia in Brisbane which begins from January 15 onwards.
Jadeja had incurred a blow on his left thumb whereas batting on day 3 of the third Test on the Sydney Cricket Floor. He was instantly taken for scans which revealed that he had dislocated his thumb.
“The all-rounder will now seek the advice of a hand specialist in Sydney earlier than he returns to India. He’ll then head to the Nationwide Cricket Academy in Bengaluru for additional administration of his damage,” the BCCI assertion learn.
Jadeja didn’t bowl in Australia’s second innings though he was seen padded as much as bat in India’s last innings.
Jadeja had earlier missed the T20I sequence against Australia with a concussion and a hamstring damage.
In the meantime, there’s a doubt over the participation of Hanuma Vihari in the third Test having injured his hamstring whereas batting on day 5 on the SCG. Ravichandran Ashwin too batted with “unbelievable ache” in his again as revealed by his spouse Prithi on Twitter.
