Bengal Govt Mulls Reopening Schools for Higher Grades From Next Week

The West Bengal authorities is exploring potentialities to reopen colleges and start lessons within the larger grades from February 12 by conforming to COVID-19 protocols, Training Minister Partha Chatterjee stated on Tuesday. Stating that nothing has been finalised as but, Chatterjee stated the Training Division would problem the required notification and people involved would come to know when the faculties reopen.

State-run and aided colleges have been closed since March 17 final yr because the coronavirus pandemic broke out. “We’re weighing the opportunity of reopening colleges, to start out lessons for requirements 9-12 from February 12 following all COVID-19 customary security precautions,” he stated.
