Bhoot Police vs Liger: Saif Ali Khan, Vijay Deverakonda to lock horns at the box office in September 2021

Arjun Kapoor grabbed the attention as he revealed that his horror comedy Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan in the lead will be releasing on September 10 this year. Interestingly, the movie will be clashing with Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger at the box office.

The year 2020 was quite difficult for the entertainment world as the entire showbiz industry had come to a standstill. And while life is slowly getting back on tracks, the theatres are all set to run with full occupancy following which the filmmakers are in a rush to release their movies on the big screen. And while several big movies are hitting the theatres this year, the recent one to join the league is Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor starrer Bhoot Police which happens to be a horror comedy.

While the audience is quite excited about this big release, the Pavan Kirpalani’s will be having a face off with Puri Jagannadh’s pan India project Liger starring Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda in the lead. Yes! You read it right. Saif and Vijay will be locking horns for the first time as Bhoot Police is set to release on September 10 while Liger will be hitting the screens on September 9 this year. Sharing the big news about Bhoot Police’s release date, Arjun wrote, “Get ready to scream with laughter! #BhootPolice arrives on 10th Sept. #NewNormalIsParanormal.”

With both Bhoot Police and Liger being two of the most anticipated releases of the year, it will be interesting to see how these movies will fare at the box office. To note, while Bhoot Police will mark Saif and Arjun’s debut in the horror comedy genre, Liger will be Vijay’s first Bollywood project which will also be releasing in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu languages.
