“Black Panther” director and co-writer Ryan Coogler is developing a streaming tv series set within the film’s fictional futuristic kingdom of Wakanda, Walt Disney Co stated on Monday.

The brand new series for the Disney+ streaming service will likely be created as a part of a five-year tv take care of Coogler’s Proximity Media manufacturing firm, Disney stated in a press release.

No launch date was introduced. Coogler is at the moment workingo n a film sequel to 2018 blockbuster “Black Panther,” which is scheduled to reach in theaters in July 2022.
