Private Hospitals: The YS Jaganmohan Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh is committing fraud and whipping non-compliant hospitals. Recently, criminal cases were registered against the owners of 9 private hospitals. Vigilance and Enforcement have inspected 15 hospitals across the state in the last two days and found that 9 hospitals have been tampered with. The managements of the criminal cases were registered against nine hospitals Vigilance and Enforcement, said the Director General of the kevirajendranathreddi. He said the Flying Squad teams set up on Tuesdays and Wednesdays carried out intensive inspections on hospitals that were committing irregularities in the treatment of Kovid. He said criminal cases have been registered against a total of 37 hospitals across the state so far.
He said the owners of these hospitals were charging more than the prices set by the government. He further said that the inspections had found that Remediesiver injections were being misused, sold at exorbitant prices on the black market, corona treatment without government approval and corona treatment was being denied to patients eligible for the Arogyasree scheme. Rajendranath Reddy said strict action would be taken against hospitals violating the rules.
