Happy Birthday, Park Shin Hye. The talented actress turns 31 years old today (32 years according to Korean age). Park Shin Hye has been acting since her late teens. She became a household name when she played the younger version of Choi Ji-woo”s character in the popular Korean drama Stairway to Heaven in 2003. She went on to play many supporting parts in various dramas. She got her breakthrough after starring as a cross-dressing heroine in the romantic-comedy musical drama, You’re Beautiful opposite Jang Keun-suk.

Since then she has headlined many blockbuster Korean dramas alongside top Hallyu stars. She recently made her comeback with JTBC’s 10th-anniversary special fantasy-mystery drama Sisyphus: The Myth. She plays an elite and skilled warrior from the future called Kang Seo Hae, who must fight against all odds to protect the genius engineer, Han Tae Sul, played by Cho Seung Woo. Park Shin Hye plays a stubborn and strong-willed character, Choi In Ha, who wishes to become a respected reporter like her mother. However, she suffers from the Pinocchio syndrome (she cannot lie). She plays the twin roles of Go Min Nyeo aka Gemma and Go Mi Nam and joins the famous band A.N.JELL, to help her twin brother keep his place in the band. Her life changes when she meets the handsome lead singer Hwang Tae Kyung, played by Jang Geun Suk.

A classic Cinderella tale, Park Shin Hye portrays Cha Eun Sang, a poor but dignified young lady, who works part-time jobs to make ends meet. She encounters the young and brash Kim Tan, played by Lee Min Ho and they pursue a romance, which is set against all odds. Park Shin Hye and Lee Min Ho share a crackling chemistry and in this teen rom-com Kdrama.
