In view of rising circumstances of Covid-19, Central Railways on Friday introduced to droop platform tickets at six Mumbai railway stations. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Kurla LTT, Kalyan junction, Thane, Dadar, and Panvel, are a few of these stations which see a big crowd of passengers commuting daily.
A number of day by day trains operating to and from north India, are certain to those stations in Mumbai.
Because the migrant exodus begins from Mumbai and different main cities, the railways took this choice to curb the circumstances of coronavirus amongst passengers and keep away from giant gatherings at ticket counters.
