Senior citizens will now get 7% strong interest thanks to an increase in HDFC Bank’s FD rate.

The interest rates on fixed-term deposits under Rs 2 crore have once again risen at HDFC Bank, the biggest private sector bank in the nation.

Interest rates have gone up by 35 basis points, or 0.35 percent, according to the bank. This price rise applies to FDs with maturities of 3 years and 1 day to 5 years, 18 months to 2 years, and 18 months to 2 years.

The bank HDFC Bank Senior is now offering FDs with a maximum interest rate of 7%. The bank offers interest rates on fixed-rate deposits (FDs) ranging from seven days to ten years of 3 to 6.25 percent to the general public and from 3.50 to 7 percent to senior persons. As on November 8, 2022, these new rates are in effect.

These are the current HDFC Bank 7- to 14-day rates:

3.00 percent is the general public rate; 3.50 percent is the senior citizen rate.

15 to 29 days: 3.00 percent for the general public; 3.50 percent for senior citizens

30 to 45 days: 3.50 percent for the general public; 4.00 percent for senior citizens

46 days to 60 days: 4.00 percent for the general public; 4.50 percent for senior citizens

61 days to 89 months: 4.50 percent for the general population; 5.00 percent for senior citizens

90 days to 6 months: 4.50 percent for the general public; 5.00 percent for senior citizens

sixty days 1 day to 9 months: 5.25 percent for the general public; 5.75 percent for senior citizens

90 days 1 day to less than 1 year: 5.50 percent for the general population; 6.00 percent for senior citizens.

1 year to 15 months: 6.10 percent for the general population; 6.60 percent for senior citizens

15 months to less than 18 months: 6.40 percent for the general population; 6.90 percent for seniors

18 months to 2 years: 6.50 percent for the general population; 7.00 percent for senior citizens

2 years, 1 day to 3 years: 6.50 percent for the general population; 7.00 percent for senior citizens

3 years, 1 day to 5 years: 6.50 percent for the general population; 7.00 percent for senior citizens

5 years, 1 day to 10 years: 6.25 percent for the general population; 7.00 percent for senior citizens.
