Now, Shahid Kapoor is coming up with a sports-themed movie Jersey that is a remake of the Telugu film of the same name, in which Natural star Nani played the lead role.
A revised release date for Shahid Kapoor’s Jersey has been announced today. The film will now be released on 14th April 2022.
Shahid Kapoor himself confirmed the news on his Twitter handle with the following message: ‘So so happy to announce that our beloved film #Jersey will be releasing worldwide in theatres on the 14th of April 2022. See you then!’.
Jersey, starring Shahid Kapoor and starring Srinidhi Shetty, which has been repeatedly delayed, will oppose the multilingual action thriller “KGF: Chapter 2,” directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty.
In this sports-based drama, Mrunal Thakur plays the female lead, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri, and produced by South film producers Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, and Aman Gill.
An upcoming film tells the story of a talented but failed cricketer who decides to return to the field in his late 30s, driven by a desire to represent the Indian national team and fulfill his son’s wish for a jersey as a gift.
