A fatal road accident took place in Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday morning. Seven people were killed in an accident on the Yamuna Expressway. The accident took place when the car was hit by an oil tanker. Mathura SSP Gaurav Grover said seven people, including two women, were killed in the accident. An oil tanker heading towards Agra first hit a divider. At the same time, their preliminary investigation revealed that the accident took place when a car came between the divider and the oil tanker.

The SP said seven people traveling in the car were killed in the accident. A man injured in the accident said he was informed about the incident. Upon receiving information about the accident, police rushed to the scene and took relief measures. The car was crushed when the oil tanker collided head-on and the bodies trapped in it were pulled out with great difficulty. The bodies were seized and moved for postmortem.

The oil tanker driver and cleaner were injured in the accident. They were rushed to Mathura Hospital for treatment, police said. Police have registered a case on the accident and are investigating. The details of the dead are yet to be known.
