CM YS Jagan Decision: The AP government has taken another crucial decision on education policy. CM Jagan conducted a review on the latest ‘Nadu-Nedu’ program at the Thadepalli camp office. On this occasion he made several key decisions.
Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy has told officials to implement the CBSE policy from class one to class seven in government schools for the 2021-22 academic year. It was suggested that plans be made to extend this CBSE policy to Class X by 2024. Also Jagannath ordered that an English-Telugu dictionary must be in the educational gift kit.
He further said that the books given to students in public schools should compete with private schools in quality. As part of the Amma Odi scheme option, laptops provided to students should be of good quality. He also said that special training should be given to Anganwadi teachers on how to teach children.
Meanwhile, 390 schools across the state which do not have pucca buildings have been ordered to construct buildings immediately. The CM said that cleanliness is important in schools. Therefore, 27 thousand babysitters should be appointed. CM Jagan told the officials to prepare the classrooms to make it convenient for the students.
